Warner Bros has released a new image from Terminator Salvation of Christian Bale as John Connor going head to head with Sam Worthington as Marcus Wright.

Warner Bros has just released high resolution versions of the Watchmen Comic Con character posters.

And, Empire Magazine has four new photos from the film.

Warner Bros has announced that they are developing a big screen hybrid live-action/computer animated feature film based on the classic Chuck Jones’ Tooney Tunes cartoon Marvin the Martian. No writer or director has yet been signed, but the pitch is aimed at the family demographic and will be packaged as a Christmas movie.

Breaking News: Universal Pictures have partnered with The Weinstein Co to produce Quentin Tarantino’s World War II film Inglorious Bastards.

According to Variety, Tarantino and Harvey Weinstein met with five studios last week, and ended up choosing Universal over Paramount.

rincipal photography is scheduled to begin this fall in Germany and France, with both Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprico in talks to star.

Times Online have a little long interview with George Lucas, where they discuss about INDY 5 project and some other things. Here’s few interesting quotes.

“If I can come up with another idea that they like, we’ll do another. Really, with the last one, Steven wasn’t that enthusiastic. I was trying to persuade him. But now Steve is more amenable to doing another one. Yet we still have the issues about the direction we’d like to take. I’m in the future; Steven’s in the past. He’s trying to drag it back to the way they were, I’m trying to push it to a whole different place. So, still we have a sort of tension. This recent one came out of that. It’s kind of a hybrid of our own two ideas, so we’ll see where we are able to take the next one.”

Here’s more.

“Indiana Jones only becomes complicated when you have another two people saying ‘I want it this way’ and ‘I want it that way’, whereas, when I first did Jones, I just said, ‘We’ll do it this way’ — and that was much easier. But now I have to accommodate everybody, because they are all big, successful guys, too, so it’s a little hard on a practical level.”

And here’s the little quote from Lucas, of course, when he talks about his personal films. Yeah, right.

“I can’t say yet, but [my next films will] be personal. In fact, I’d sooner just make them and not even release them, just put them on the shelf, like ships in a bottle — ‘Oh, look, let me show you my collection.’ Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. Films are a very expensive hobby. And you have to get people to want to go and see them.”

Warner Bros released eight new character posters for Zack Snyder’s Watchmen at Comic Con 2008. The posters stick with the 80’s style of the original Alan Moore comic book mini-series.

The trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine has leaked online, after making a surprise premiere during the Fox panel a couple days ago at Comic Con.  Check out the first and second parts right now, while is still there.

For those of you who loved The Dark Knight but are deeply concerned about the quality of McG’s upcoming Terminator Salvation, take heart: At today’s Comic Con press conference for Salvation, McG was asked about the involvement of Dark Knight scribe, Jonah/Jonathan Nolan, someone who McG previously mentioned had worked on the script.

According to McG, Nolan was “the lead writer of the film,” and “I don’t know how the WGA rules work but honest to goodness, we did the heaviest lifting with Jonah.” Currently, Nolan is uncredited on the film’s IMDB page.

Robert Rodriguez, Rose McGowan, and director Douglas Aarniokoski sat down to answer a bunch of questions from fans about Red Sonja at Comic Con today, and also took the liberty of showing off some of the teaser poster artwork they had come up with.
