The Dark Knight - New Synopsis

Few days just before we’re gonna get a new The Dark Knight trailer, Warner Bros. has released a new official synopsis for upcoming Batman movie.

And here it is , ladies and gents.

The follow-up to the action hit “Batman Begins,” “The Dark Knight” reunites director Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale, who reprises the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne.

In “The Dark Knight,” Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as The Joker.

Cast Alert: Jay Baruchel in Justice League

Le Journal de Montreal has a little sat down with KnockedUp star Jay Baruchel who’s revealed that he has been cast in ultra giga mega secret project for Warner Bros. What could be that be!?

Here’s the actual quote:

“He’s been chosen by Warner to star in the next big fantasy action film, scheduled for 2010. The highest budgeted project produced by the Burbank studio, a secret for the moment.”

The Justice League of America is one of the top budget project for 2009 release or who knows, maybe guys from Warner Bros. has pushed release date for 2010 because of writers strike and they are making something really unexpected for us. But do not forget, the whole casting thing with Justice League it’s pretty nonsure, in last few days we got news about changing the official title of the movie and stars are too young to be a superheroes, whatever will be, we only need to wait.
